Inauguració de l'exposició "Les Ciutats del món", celebrada el dia 15 de desembre de 2009, a la Sala Fortuny, a les 20:00h. Inclosa dins dels actes del 150è aniversari del Centre de Lectura.
L'exposició mostra divuit pobles on, a partir d'un dels retrats escrits o dibuixos fets per Josep Iglésies ((1902-1986), geògraf, escriptor i excursionista reusenc), incorporen a sota la nova interpretació del mateix paisatge feta per un escriptor, un fotògraf i un dibuixant dels nostres dies. D'aquesta exposició, també en sorgeix una nova edició del llibre del Josep Iglésies "Les ciutats del món.
