Modificat per: CLR[12-07-2013], MNAC[13-07-2013] CLR[30-04-2020] Descripció de la signatura Motiu pel qual ha visitat l'entitat Descripció de la signatura: text, imatge, llengua, etc. César Luis de Montalbán va venir a donar una conferència al Centre de Lectura (Actes CD, 20 juliol 1915) L'explorador i periodista César Luís de Montalbán, e 16 de juliol de 1915, va venir al Centre a pronunciar una conferència, desenvolupant, segons el Diario de Reus, dos temes: "Civilización de las Indias Americanas y sus relaciones con los pueblos de Europa" i, en segon lloc, "Impresiones de un viaje por la cordillera de los Andes" (Diario de Reus, 16-VII-1915). Si hem de fer cas al mateix diari, es tractava d'un personatge prestigiós per la premsa de Barcelona, de la resta de la Península i d'altres països, tal com mostra el fet que havia donat "conferencias en la "Royal Societé Inglesa", en muchas Universidades latinoamericanas, en la de Oviedo, Sociedad Geográfica Comercial, de Barcelona, y por último, en todos los lugares que ha visitado" (Diario de Reus, 16-VII-1915).
