Presentació del llibre “Reus 1970-2020. La transformació d’una ciutat”, volum 154 de les Edicions del Centre de Lectura de Reus, celebrada el dia 14 de novembre al Saló Noble del Palau Bofarull de la Diputació de Tarragona a Reus.
A les imatges (d'esquerrra a dreta): Francesc Domènech, coautor del llibre en representació dels 7 autors; Lluís Miquel Pérez, president del CLR; Noemí Llauradó, Presidenta de la Diputació de Tarragona; Carme Buixeda, presidenta de la Fundació Privada Reddis i Fina Masdeu, directora d'Activitats Culturals del CLR.
L’edició d’aquest llibre està emmarcada dins el projecte "Reus 1970-2020: la transformació d’una ciutat", un exercici multidisciplinari de memòria històrica, que pretén acostar a la ciutadania l’evolució i els canvis més importants que ha experimentat la ciutat en el darrer terç del segle XX i inici de l'actual. El projecte multidisciplinari, impulsat per la Fundació Privada Reddis està liderat per l’historiador Joan Navais, com a director de continguts, i consta d’un cicle de conferències, que van tenir lloc els mesos de febrer i març de 2022; una sèrie audiovisual produïda i retransmesa per Canal Reus, dirigida per Guillem Latorre; una exposició "Reus 1970-2022: Cronologia d’una transformació", dissenyada i produïda per Estudi Ovni; i, culmina amb l’edició del llibre, editat pel Centre de Lectura, que consta de diversos capítols temàtics: urbanisme, cultura, moviments socials, demografia, economia i política institucional.
